Please see www.dsireusa.org for a list of available incentives in your area. In the northwest Missouri area some of those incentives include:

Federal Tax Credit of 30% of the toal cost of solar projects for homes and businesses.
Net metering laws that allow you to get full credit for the power you produce.
KCP & L gives customers who install a solar electric system a rebate of $2.00 per watt (CEC-AC), with a maximum rebate of $50,000.

These incentives can greatly reduce the total cost of a PV system! Now is a great time to purchase a solar electric system!
